Robert Simon is a professor in the areas of Hispanic and Lusophone languages, cultures, and literatures at Kennesaw State University. He is both a poet and literary critic, having authored books and articles on the poetries of Angola, Portugal, and Spain. His poetry, composed in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, elaborates on the themes of love, travel, and self-imposed barriers to interpersonal relationships and communication.
