Time That Has Gone by Katherine Wolfe
$14.99
Katherine Wolfe’s poems are mysterious and elegant, evoking times past, as in “Winter at Grandmother’s House,” and present moments in poems like “The Wren in the Rain.” Katherine’s images glow, bright, like “dollops of sun on new fallen snow.”
–Margaret Boothe Baddour, author of Easy Magic and Scheherazade
In Time That Has Gone, there is a looking back on good times and forward to promises. “Widow’s Letter to Her Husband” offers perspective on loneliness and difference, breakup, mortality, death, and, especially the love that exists in the mind, after a loved one dies.
–Shelby Stephenson, Poet Laureate of North Carolina
Katherine Wolfe’s poems, simple, evocative vignettes, reach in to touch the heart with an ease that astonishes us, bringing to life again grandmother, sister, baby brother, girlfriend of fifty years, husband, all become present in a way we won’t forget.
–Judy Hogan, author of Beaver Soul, This River: An Epic Love Poem, and Those Eternally Linked Lives.
