Heidi Hemmer has been writing and publishing poetry for over fifteen years. Heidi’s poetry utilizes visceral imagery, dark humor, and a forlorn wistfulness to start serious conversations about nature’s inherent beauty, mental illness, and drug abuse. Beyond her poetry, Heidi Hemmer also writes and designs corporate learning and development curriculum and provides senior thought-leadership in her professional field. She has a master of arts in organizational psychology. Heidi currently lives in the bone chilling cold of Saint Paul Minnesota, with her husband and Instagram celebrity cat, @BanditTorpedo.
