Ann Snodgrass has published two books of poetry, and two books of translations from the Italian (of Luciano Erba and Antonella Anedda), as well as a book of critical essays on the multi-lingual Italian poet Amelia Rosselli. She has published poems, translations and essays in dozens of literary journals, including The New Republic, Paris Review, Poetry, APR and Harvard Review, among many others. Her work has received awards from the PEN American Center, Academy of American Poets, San Francisco Poetry Archives, New York Center for the Book, the American Academy in Rome and the Fulbright Foundation, among others.
