Sarah is a retired clergyperson in the United Church of Christ, happy to be spending her time writing poetry instead of sermons! She holds an MDiv. from the U. of Chicago and has been listening and learning in poetry classes and workshops for over ten years. She lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina, but still longs to return to the mountains of North Idaho. Her life coaches are her favorite poets, Gwendolyn Brooks and Robert Wrigley, her children and grandchildren, not always in that order. Her poems have appeared in Pinestraw Magazine, Kakalak 2014, New Verse News, Conclave, Weymouth Center for the Arts, and Bay Leaves.
