Each story brought me deeper into her heart, her truth, her canvas. Such power and humility sculpted into a chapbook. This is one book I want to read again and again.

Rachael Ikins is a genius, a creative force with words and mediums. She wrestles feelings from her nerves and memory like paint on the page. So very talented, so very comfortable, her heart involved with her every motion. Her mind aware of each fiber, her eyes perceive mysteries. My fear is that she won’t be fully appreciated until her heart stops. Her poetry will be studied. She will be whispered about and revered as a poet/artist/writer of unbridled talents. I am in awe. Ikins is an icon for truth.
