Janelle Elyse Kihlstrom‘s poems and book reviews have appeared in a number of journals and anthologies, including Gargoyle, Arsenic Lobster, Lines + Stars, and the Iowa Review.  Her first chapbook, Blue Trajectory, was published by Dancing Girl Press in 2011.  She holds an M.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and in 2009 founded the online journal Melusine, which she edited until 2016.  She lives with her family outside Washington, D.C., where she works as a freelance editor.
