Susan Bucci Mockler is the author of Noisy Souls, published by Finishing Line Press in 2010. The collection was a semifinalist for the 2011 Library of Virginia Literary Award for Poetry. Her poem, “The Wedding Suit” was first runner up in the Foley Poetry contest in 2011. Mockler’s poems have appeared in The Cortland Review, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, and Poet Lore. She was awarded the Writer’s Center Undiscovered Voices Fellowship in 2009-2010 and is a poet in the Arlington County, VA schools. Mockler also teaches composition and literature at a local university.
