Carol’s first published poem appeared in Iowa Woman(Spr/Sum, 1995). Finishing Line Press published her first chapbook, “Out of Southern Africa,” in 2005, and her second, “Chronicle of Dog,” in 2006.

Carol is a psychotherapist in private practice. She has a B.A. in biology, an M.A. in clinical social work, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Her book And Baby Makes Three (Apocryphile Press, 2007) explores the emotional transition to parenthood.
