Poemedica by Rose Bromberg

$14.00

Rose Bromberg voices the silence of fear and the chasms of loss. Some of these poems are “overheard” in waiting rooms, in hospital beds, in doctors’ offices as sentences are read, palms traced, fortunes thrown. Others enact the timeless dramas of loss and dread as lives stagger to their ends, love notwithstanding. Bromberg is a major new voice in poetry. The craft is elevated, the skill undeniable, the words true.

–Rita Charon, Program in Narrative Medicine, Columbia University

Rose Bromberg’s beautiful collection Poemedica is powerful and heartbreaking. Bromberg gives fresh insight into life’s losses and challenges with the deftness of a gifted poet’s voice.

–Leah Maines, author of Beyond the River
