Judith H. Montgomery‘s poems appear in Ars Medica, Valparaiso Poetry Review, Northwest Review, Cider Press Review, and elsewhere, as well as in several anthologies. Her chapbook, Passion, was awarded the 2000 Oregon Book Award. Red Jess, a full-length collection, appeared in 2006; Pulse & Constellation, a finalist for the Finishing Line Press Chapbook Competition, appeared in June 2007. Judith holds a Ph.D. in American Literature from Syracuse University and was the 2005-2006 Scholar-in-Residence at Central Oregon Community College. She is currently at work on new manuscripts (Blue Fields, Burning, and Inter/View) supported in part by fellowships from Literary Arts and by the Oregon Arts Commission.
