I teach the BREATHING LAB/ Alexander Technique in Seattle and I write poems, give readings and publish when possible.
I am an Editorial Assistant for the venerable literary journal, Crab Creek Review. Pecan Grove Press published my full volume poems “Stunned By the Velocity” 2012. Pecan Grove Press also my chapbook “Red Rooms and Others” 2009, “Sea Lions Sing Scat came out 2007 Finishing Line Press. I have work in New York Quarterly, Raven Chronicles, Pirene’s Fountain Poetry Journal, The Mom Egg, Accents Press anthology, Red Ochere Press, OVS Magazine, Halfway Down the Stairs, Strngtown, The Cortland Review. I was a winner in Late Blooms-A Postcard Poetry Series. Work has appeared in The Louisville Review, The Massachusetts Review, Third Coast, The Seattle Review, The Pedestal Magazine, issues #16 and 35 of the Cortland Review, The Comstock Review, Junctures Journal, Umbrella and The Centrifugal Eye and others. Poems were set as a choral work by composer Carol Sams and have been performed by various choirs. My work has been extensively translated and published in Russia.
I collaborated in translating Anton Chekhov’s four major plays, now being offered in a manuscript “The Three Sisters and Three More, Plays by Anton Chekhov”. We also wrote a dictionary of Stanislavski terms for theater artists.
