Poetry is a democratic art – probably now more than ever. Ellen Hernandez has collected everyday voices, and in their moments, we will find some of our own.

–Matthew Sorrento, Editor-in-chief, Retreats from Oblivion: Journal of NoirCon and Co-editor, Film International

The beauty of art is that it connects us no matter how we’re separated – by miles, by years, or by a threat we can’t see except in how it changes the world around us. Voices from a Pandemic reminds us that even in isolation, we are not alone, and that even in quarantine we can still be touched by the things that matter most.

–Peter Woodworth, contributing author for fiction collections including the Anthology of Dreams, Death Is Not the End, and Gimme Shelter.
