Endnotes: a poem, illustrations, and notes begins with a single poem unfolding into a series of 17 watercolor paintings and then again into notes, sub-notes, and footnotes. These in turn branch and extend and return tendril-like, drawing the reader into an unfurling voyage of observation, anecdote, memory, and myth. Meditating on everything from clouds to kaleidoscopes, from hieroglyphs and hummingbirds to sugar mice, Endnotes is about embracing unexpected connections and interrelationships, about reaching out and then reaching out some more. Endnotes: a poem, illustrations, and notesis a spell-binding and original poem journey, curious, tender, alive.
