 First, a HUGE honor, my book will debut internationally online this coming Sunday, May 3, Noon Pacific, 3 p.m. Eastern. I will read for 15 minutes as one of two featured authors (Poet Nathan Spoon!) on Cultivating Voices LIVE Poetry hosted by Sandra Yannone. Following the featured readers is an Open Mic on the theme, “Mind.” Sign up for the Open Mic beginning at 15 minutes before the program. To watch, you must register in advance through Zoom by using this link; then you’ll receive the “Join the Meeting” email:
 
2) Poet Linda B. Myers (Load-Bearing Walls) and I will LAUNCH and celebrate our book releases at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center on Thursday, May 21, 5:30-7 p.m. with the help of poet S. Salazar and Port Book & News, which will sell copies of our books. There will be an author Q&A as wellLight refreshments will be available at this free public event. Also, an exquisite art exhibit about northwestern birds, “Field Notes,” will be on display in the gallery. Please RSVP your attendance on the PAFAC website using this link: https://pafac.org/rsvp/.   • Gold Coast Book Fair
    May 15-17, 2026 | Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY
    Daniel will debut his poetry chapbook, What The World Offers, at the Gold Coast Book Fair in Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY. He will read and sign at the Poetry Venue, with books available via local bookseller Theodore’s Books.

    The festival is free, with some ticketed sessions, and draws an expected attendance of over 7,000 people. Organized in partnership with Oyster Bay Main Street Association, Theodore’s Books, and Long Island University. Extensive media outreach includes the newspaper NEWSDAY.
