Lisa C. Taylor will have a new collection of short stories (Impossibly Small Spaces) released in the autumn of 2018. Her last collection is Growing a New Tail (Arlen House/Syracuse University Press, 2015).She has four collections of poetry including Necessary Silence (2013) and The Other Side of Longing (2011), a collaborative collection with Irish poet and writer Geraldine Mills. Both of these collections were published by Arlen House/Syracuse University Press. Lisa’s work has been widely published in national and international magazines, journals, and anthologies. She’s been nominated for the Pushcart Prize in both poetry and fiction and won the Hugo House New Works Fiction Award in 2015.

Lisa C. Taylor facilitates writing workshops and teaches creative writing to adults and children in both the United States and Ireland. Lisa also writes nonfiction and tweets @dreamingchange. She is in demand as a speaker at schools, colleges, and community organizations and has also acted as a final judge in many writing competitions.
