PRAISE:

“Kathleen Bednarek’s poetry enlivens the term ‘landscape,’ testing our engagement with physical surfaces and emotional depths with a deceptive lightness of touch. We are both voyeur behind the wheel of a car and the trapped animal in a cage, both figure in a photograph and deliciously alive. Between her precise and elegant lines, Bednarek performs a bewitching alchemy: we are invited to inhabit entire worlds, while simultaneously given blank space in which to create new narratives. Like a sliver of stone cast into still water, the poet’s eye mesmerizes. This is a beautiful work of art.”
