Cara Lorello is a poet currently residing in her hometown of Spokane, Washington. Lorello is the author of the chapbook, but at least you’re beautiful (Dancing Girl Press, 2022), and but for this mess (Finishing Line Press 2026). Her poetry and writing have also appeared in several online and print literary journals, most recently Ponder Review, SnapDragon Journal, and Noble Gas Quarterly, among others.
PRAISE:
In Cara Lorello’s But For This Mess, it’s easy to immerse yourself in the elegant descriptiveness, the keen sensory notes, and the unflinching retelling of life’s lowlights and highlights. This is a deeply personal poetry collection, but it is also a universal and welcoming one. I highly recommend it.
