Deborah L. Davitt was born in Washington State, but was raised in Reno, Nevada where she graduated first in her class from UNR in 1997. She received her master’s degree in English with a focus on medieval and Renaissance studies from Penn State, and currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband and son.
