Sarah Hirch‘s poems tell the truth; a truth that is both personal and universal, filled with love, loss, humor, sadness, and all the stuff of life in between. She speaks with a voice that is distinctly her own, and reading one of her poems feels like having an intimate conversation with an old friend. Whenever I read her work, I only wish there was more.”
–Ben Williams

Thrive is an ode to family, loss, and love, through the lens of the seasons and everyday life. Sometimes humorous, sometimes earnest, the poetry always reveals surprising and poignant truths about relationships, self-discovery, and hope.”
–Molly Ellis

Thrive gathers poems of youth and loss and growth and love, asking us to find beauty in the unfurling. Joy, dance, seedlings, romance, the vast powerful scope of the sea, the fresh eyes of children, and believing in the possibility of glorious, fragile, improbable things, the moment of a flower blooming.
